No cable across the kitchen floor.
The Fountain. Three litres, battery driven, with a radar sensor that starts it when an animal comes near and a flip lid that keeps the dust and the hair out.
Ships from a US warehouse. Three to eight days to your door, handling included. Nothing is pre-ticked on this page.
This is not a steel fountain, whatever the box says.
The supplier’s own product title contains the words "304 stainless steel". Their specification panel says the material is ABS and PC, and the material field on their listing says plastic. Two of their three answers say plastic, so that is what we are selling you: a plastic fountain.
There may well be a steel plate under the water. We cannot see one in any photograph and nobody has confirmed it, so it is not in the table and it is not in the price.
We used to list a different fountain here at eighty nine dollars. We took it down because a near identical thing sells for about fifty three, and we could not defend the gap. This one is forty four, and it is a better machine.

Including what the title gets wrong.
An electrical product that sits in water deserves a complete sheet. This is everything the supplier gave us, and a note everywhere they gave us nothing.
| Capacity | 3 litres, which the supplier also writes as 105 oz |
|---|---|
| Material | ABS and PC, which are plastics, from their specification panel. Their product title says 304 stainless steel and their material field says plastic. We are going with plastic, which is the answer two of the three give |
| Power | Rechargeable battery, charged over a port on the body. It runs without being plugged in |
| Battery life | Not published. The listing says it runs on battery and does not say for how long, which is the single number we would most like and do not have |
| Rated power and voltage | Printed on their specification panel too small for us to read with confidence. We would rather leave it blank than misread a voltage |
| Modes | Two. Sensor mode runs when an animal comes near. Timed mode runs 15 seconds every 15 minutes |
| Sensor | The supplier calls it microwave radar rather than infrared |
| Lid | Clear flip lid, closed by default, to keep hair and dust off the water |
| Filter | Multi layer cartridge. Replacement interval and where to buy spares are not stated |
| Size | 21 × 17 × 16 cm, which is 8.3 × 6.7 × 6.3 in |
| Shipped weight | 1,090 g |
| Certification | The listing shows two certificates and does not name them in text. We have not read them yet, so we are not going to tell you what this product is certified to |
| Country of origin | China |
| Ships from | United States warehouse |
| Delivery | 3 to 8 business days, handling included |
| Stock today | 104 units, read from the warehouse as this page loaded |
Four reasons not to buy this.
If one of these is a dealbreaker, we would rather you found out here than after the box arrives.
It is plastic.
If you came looking for a stainless bowl of water because of biofilm, slime or a cat with chin acne, this is not the answer and we will not pretend it is. Plastic is harder to keep properly clean than steel. Buy a steel one and change the water by hand.
We cannot tell you how long the battery lasts.
Cordless is the whole point of it, and the runtime is unpublished. That is a real gap. If it turns out to need charging every other day, cordless stops being a convenience and becomes a chore, and we will say so on this page when we know.
Filters are a standing cost with no stated interval.
Every fountain is a filter subscription wearing a disguise. This one does not publish how often to change the cartridge or what spares cost, so you are buying into an unknown running cost.
Three litres is not large.
It is right for one or two cats. For a big dog, or four animals, you will be refilling it often enough to wonder why you did not buy a plain bowl and a jug.
